Title

Trying to fix confusing PHP setup under cPanel with missing extensions

Description

One day my cPanel-hosted sites stopped working, saying "Your Composer dependencies require the following PHP extensions to be installed" and "System default PHP version is alt-php. PHP Selector is disabled. Use cPanel MultiPHP manager instead". In this post I wrote down the tools that helped me hotfix PHP and cPanel as I was waiting for the hosting support to step in.
